The educational program at Thap Hong International Kindergarten is built on the framework of the Ministry of Education and Training (MOET) Education Program and is taught in two languages, Vietnamese and English. The school combines the
Montessori method with children as the center, learning through topics, working on projects, developing teamwork skills as well as independent working skills and especially promoting self-study ability. With small class sizes and a child-centered motto, children are cared for and closely monitored by teachers to assess the learning process and practice moral qualities, focus on developing core competencies and encourage progress in learning as well as art and physical education.
18-24 months
Educational Purpose: This stage focuses on developing basic motor skills, language acquisition, and social interactions.
Key Features: Activities include simple games, songs, and sensory play to engage toddlers’ curiosity and encourage exploration in a safe environment.
25-36 months
Educational Purpose: At this age, the focus shifts to enhancing language skills, emotional expression, and basic problem-solving abilities.

3-4 years old
Educational Purpose: This stage aims to foster independence, critical thinking, and foundational academic skills through structured play and exploration.
Key Features: Activities include arts and crafts, early literacy games, and collaborative projects that encourage teamwork and imaginative play.
4-5 years old
Educational Purpose: The focus here is on preparing children for formal education by developing literacy, numeracy, and social skills.
Key Features: The curriculum includes more complex activities like early math concepts, storytelling, and science experiments to nurture curiosity and a love for learning.
5-6 years old
Educational Purpose: This stage is geared towards refining academic skills, fostering self-regulation, and encouraging greater independence in learning.
Key Features: Activities include structured lessons in reading and math, as well as opportunities for leadership in group projects, promoting both cognitive and social development.
